Bristol author publishes Midcoast Maine Mystery series

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Allison Keeton is from Bristol, Maine and is the author of the Midcoast Maine Mystery Series.

The first book in the series, “Blaze Orange,” is the seventh novel she has written, but her first to be published. “Artic Green" is the second book in the series.

Summary:

“Raven Ouelette, owner of Pine Acres Cabins in Secretly, Maine, can’t resist a good mystery. She takes exploring a bit too far, along with her nosy neighbor, Betty, and her retired-cop father, Johnny, much to the dismay of her husband, Marcel, the county sheriff. The series also intertwines the strained relationship between Raven and her long-absent father, her insecurities about Marcel’s resurfaced former girlfriend, the new county DA, and the goings-on in her hometown and the people who live there. Join them as they encounter life and mysteries on the Midcoast.”

Book three, “Lobster Red,” will be released in February 2027.

Keeton says she has enough ideas to keep the characters and the series going for many years to come.

When she is not writing, she work a full-time in a human resources position for a Fortune 5 company. She can also be found paddling a river, hiking a trail, or reading at the beach.
