Foxcroft Academy moves past George Stevens Academy into Class C North Championship

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Foxcroft Academy outlasted George Stevens Academy, 46-35, in the CLass C North semifinals.

“Our coach (Tyler Muzzy) is a really good coach. He prepares us for everything. He knows what we need to do. He watches film all the time. Girls knew what we had to do. We knew it would be tough, but we came to, and we just made it happen. It feels great. I’m so excited. I’m so happy our team could do it. We knew we could all year,” said Nola Mason, sophomore.

They will face No. 1 Mattanawcook Academy or No. 5 Caribou in the regional championship on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Cross Insurance Center.
