Lincoln man claims drug-filled backpack after authorities share it on social media

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Here’s something you don’t see every day!

Lincoln police department posted Wednesday night about a backpack found on West Broadway with drug paraphernalia, asking the owner to come forward.

This backpack was found on West Broadway at the end of someone’s driveway here in Lincoln and brought to Sgt Lakeman....

Believe or not - the owner did come forward and claim the backpack last night, according to another Facebook post.
