ELLSWORTH, Maine (WABI) - Hancock County Technical Center in Ellsworth is looking forward to welcoming the public back inside the building.

HCTC will be holding its first open house since 2019 on Thursday night.

It’s from 6 to 8 p.m. for any Hancock County students grades eight to 11.

The open house will give students and parents the opportunity to see what the school has to offer,

Current students and faculty will be on hand to give tours and answer questions.

”I’m actually really excited to get people back in the building. We’re always so proud of what we do here and want to showcase our successes. Kids can come here, learn hands on skills, earn the certifications and college credits while they’re in high school, and then make an impact on our labor demographics here in Maine,” said Amy Boles, HCTC director.

The deadline for applications to attend Hancock County Technical Center is this Friday.
