UPDATE: Police identify 4-year old victim in Houlton fire
Police have also released a cause of death for the boy.

HOULTON, Maine (WABI) - A young boy has died and three others were injured in an apartment building fire in downtown Houlton Wednesday morning.
Police say the boy has been identified as 4-year old Taimi Pinkham of Houlton.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that the cause of death is smoke inhalation.
Houlton emergency crews responded to the 14-unit apartment building at 5 Mechanic Street at 9:15 a.m., according to town officials.

According to the Maine State Police, the boy was killed and his twin sister was taken to the hospital. Police have not updated the status of the girl, but they say the12-year-old boy is still at Maine Medical Portland for care. There is also no update on the firefighter who was taken to the hospital.
Police say the three children were home alone at the time.
It’s been confirmed that the three children are siblings.
Police also say a firefighter was taken to the hospital for breathing related issues.
Multiple crews responded to the fire and police say crews were on scene throughout the evening.
The Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate.
