Maine CDC reports 42 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death
AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - The Maine CDC reported 42 new cases of COVID-19 in the state Friday.
That drops the state’s daily average down to 62 cases over the last week.
Another Mainer from York County has died. It marks the 844th coronavirus-related death statewide since the pandemic began.
There have been 68,487 total cases in Maine. Of those, 50,106 are confirmed.
York is the only county in double-digits, with 10 additional cases reported.
Androscoggin County has seven.
Piscataquis County reported no new cases for the eighth straight day.
Androscoggin, Knox, Oxford, and Sagadahoc counties also reported no change.
