SALEM, NEW HAMPSHIRE (WABI) - After firing 20 employees last month at their store in Salem, New Hampshire, Bull Moose announced Friday they are offering all employees their jobs back, including back pay for the past few weeks.

On May 22nd, Bull Moose announced it was temporarily closing the Salem store and did not share reasons why.

Employees said the closure and firings happened after the workers disagreed with a company decision to allow customers to stop wearing face coverings.

At the time, Bull Moose said that had nothing to do with the closing.

In a statement Friday, Bull Moose says in part:

“We are sorry that we did not act anywhere near how we want to be as a company....Over the last few weeks, we listened to our staff and got to work on fixing what we could.”
