WALDOBORO, Maine (WMTW) - Maine Marine Patrol has released the name of the man whose body was recovered in the Medomak River in Waldoboro Tuesday morning.

James Guptill, 34, of Waldoboro, had a commercial shellfish harvester license as well as a non-commercial lobster license, Marine Patrol said.

Crews started searching for him Monday night after his empty skiff was found grounded near Havener Point.
