376 new coronavirus cases, 1 new death according to Maine CDC

Maine (WABI) - 25,968 cases of coronavirus are now being reported in Maine since March.

376 new cases being added to the total case count on Monday, according to the Maine CDC.

21,998 are confirmed by the state government agency.

Another person died with COVID-19; they lived in York County.

That brings the death toll to 360 since the pandemic began.

York county also saw the highest increase in cases since the weekend. 124 new ones being reported by the Maine CDC.

Cumberland County with 98 new cases, Androscoggin County reporting 29.

Aroostook County has 20 new cases, Penobscot County with 19 and Kennebec County recording 15 new cases of COVID-19.

6 counties in Maine reporting just single digit increases of cases, according to the Maine CDC.

The next Maine CDC briefing is scheduled for Monday afternoon at two o’clock.
