CORINTH, Maine (WABI) - Fire crews responded to a building fire on Main Street, near the Cushman Road, in Corinth Saturday morning.

Crews say that when they arrived on scene, the shed behind the main house was on fire.

The shed housed things like firewood, tractors, and other farm equipment.

Fire personnel worked fast to maintain the fire.

“They did an excellent job knocking down the fire, keeping it away from the building and the house. And the Fire Marshals Office is going to come out, see if they can figure out an origin, and go from there,” says Corinth Fire Department Lieutenant Chadwick Crooker.

Officials say the house nearby sustained some damage to the siding.
