LINCOLN, Maine (WABI) - Speed, inexperience, and possibly alcohol appear to be the causes of a fatal ATV crash in Lincoln Saturday night..

That according to the Maine Warden Service.

Officials say that 40-year-old Shannon Brewer, of Corinna, was driving an ATV on Pierce Webber Road at around 8:30.

They say she approached a 4-way intersection, lost control, skidding more than 50 feet before rolling the machine against a tree.

Brewer was pinned between the tree and the ATV,

Other drivers tried to free her, but were unable.
