Non-profit needs to raise $10,000 to complete purchase of produce delivery truck

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) -Healthy Acadia is close to purchasing a delivery truck to help with its Downeast Gleaning Initiative...they're now asking for help to make it the last mile.
According to Healthy Acadia, the truck would allow them to deliver up to 10-thousand additional pounds of fresh produce to food pantries.
The United Way of Eastern Maine’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund is doubling all donations.
With $10,000 already in the pot, Healthy Acadia needs another $10,000 to complete the vehicle purchase.
You have until the end of this month to help the non profit.
