Folks in Jackson will vote Saturday on wind power in their town. The special vote stems from a petition filed by a group of residents against a proposed wind farm there.
The wind energy ordinance has been debated in Jackson for nearly a year now. Jackson selectwoman Cindy Ludden tells TV 5 there's no need to rush into making a decision, she says her focus has been getting accurate information to residents and letting them decide.
The vote is scheduled for 9:00 Saturday morning.
