Rounding out the day of cheering over at the auditorium were the girls from Class C. This one definitely brought out the biggest crowd of the day.

Dexter won this competition last year and in their routine they looked in top shape yet again.

However, not to be outdone by Dexter, were Washington Academy. A terrific routine by them this afternoon. Houlton finished second in Class 'C' and the winner of the regional championship were the Sumner Tigers.

I really wish that you'd taken the time to shoot a little video of all of the girls cheering in this division. It would have been nice to see a little of everybody, not only the 5th, 4th, and runners up, not to mention some that did not even place. And, how about a little for the actual Eastern Maine Champs. A little recognition would have been nice. But I'm sure you feel your 1/2 sentence is adequate.

Ummm okayy? Talk about Dexter enough. Like really? they got 5th.... And to not even show the winning team in that little video clip, thats awesome. What ever, it would have been nice to recognize the winning team, but i guess not.

All of the teams did great! We are so proud of our Sumner Tigers! The hours they have practiced and the time and devotion their coaches have given really showed! Such a wonderful group of athletes, students, and kids. Even if Channel 5 did not give them any recognition, our community certainly does. GO SUMNER!

Being from Dexter I think it's great to see the Dexter Kids show cased however I can see the winning teams feeling slighted ? GOOD LUCK AT STATES !!!

Yes, I agree with all of this. One of the asst. coaches for Sumner said the TV crew left the room as soon as the they were announced winners. Very poor work on WABI's behalf. It's really too bad considering Sumner never gets any recognition, not even when they place first for the first time ever. BOO WABI.
