It's hard to believe but in just two weeks the state championships in high school cheerleading will take place. Today, the Bangor Auditorium hosted the regional finals in Classes B, C, and D with the top six finalists qualifying for the state championship.

A packed Bangor Auditorium for regionals, the action kicked off this morning with Class B. Even after the long bus ride south, Caribou looking strong. The Vikings would finish in fourth place and book their ticket to states.

Ellsworth has been one of the top contenders in Class B for a while now and once again they do not disappoint. They finished in second.

However, nobody could top Hermon. The Hawks, last year's state champs and winners of their last six tournaments make it a magnificent seven. With a score of 140, Hermon is on to states as the champions of Eastern Maine in Class B.
