A family in Pittsfield waiting to adopt two children in Haiti could be getting closer to bringing their children home.

Jediah and Amanda Logiodice began the process of adopting 5 year old Cristella and 1 year old David, more than a year ago.

But getting the kids out of the country since the earthquake has become increasing difficult.

Amanda tells us Cristella and David have spent the last two days at the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, along with about 50-other kids from their orphanage.

She hopes her children will be in Maine within the next two weeks.

She adds that bins of supplies for the orphanage arrived from the U-S, yesterday.

The family - along with others - collected hundreds of pounds of diapers, formula and medical supplies.

Delta Airlines then flew them into the country for free.
