Bangor police and the Penobscot County Sheriff's say that home burglaries are on the rise. Tuesday night the home of Manna Ministries Executive Director Bill Rae was burglarized in Corinna.
Rae says he lost thousands of dollars worth of valuables but he's asking the burglar to return one thing in particular, that Rae says is priceless. "All I'm asking is whoever took my wife's wedding ring, because she passed away a year ago, I'd like that returned," says Rae "I forgive you, I forgive what you did, maybe the economy has turned you to have to steal like this but I would like my wife's wedding ring back."
If you have any information on the break in at Bill Rae's house call the Penobscot County Sheriff's office at 947-4585.
