Three people face drugs charges in the state's first meth lab bust of the year.

Maine Drug Enforcement agents searched a home on Fenwick Road in New Vineyard last week.

They seized chemicals and equipment allegedly used to make methamphetamine.

57-year-old Nancy Barden and 29-year-old Charity Haines - both from Franklin County - are charged in connection with the crime.

So is 39-year-old William Christopher, who's from Missouri.

The women were issued summons.

Christopher was taken to the Franklin County Jail on a bail violation.

If convicted, the suspects face up to ten years in prison.
