There's a new Goodwill store in Ellsworth.
A nice crowd showed up for Friday's official opening and to get a look at the store's inventory.
The new building features a donation drive-thru.
And will also accept used computers and parts through the ReConnect computer recycling program.
The store will offer a combination of donated and new items, including clothing, books, furniture and jewelry.
The folks from Goodwill think they've picked a great location.
" We've looked at Ellsworth for some time. We were looking for a space that best suited our needs as a convenience to our customers and donors. And we felt Ellsworth was the perfect place to do that."
" Look at all these people here today. It is bringing people into this community to shop and local shopping for retail. So I think it's a win-win."
The store is located on 15 Downeast Highway in Ellsworth.
Store and donation hours are 9 to 9 Monday through Saturday and 9 to 7 on Sunday.
