Two men from Augusta have been arrested in connection with fires in Augusta and Belgrade.
They were indicted yesterday by the Kennebec County Grand Jury on arson charges.
55-year-old Manley Davis is charged with two counts of arson and two counts of conspiracy to commit arson.
The charges stem from fires that damaged his home on Murray Street in Augusta in January 2008 and destroyed his car in Belgrade in September 2005.
Investigators say Davis paid another man to set the two fires.
Ronald Hanson, Junior, of Augusta has already pleaded guilty to that.
Police also arrested 53-year-old Jack Vogel last night in connection with a fire at his home on Middle Street in August.

"In the Boston and other areas of Massachusetts, the same surnames seem to keep coming up in crimes,"Martinez,Ramos,Fernandez,. In Maine it seems the same surnames keep repeating in Maine crimes.
"Davis" is one of those frequent surnames that seems to keep repeating themselves in Maine crimes.
