Motorists in the Medway region are limited to lane of traffic on I-95, following Sunday night's rollover of a semi trailer hauling hazardous materials. A spokesman for the Department of Transportation says the lane closure will remain in effect until Friday morning.
The northbound lane of the interstate was shut down for all of Monday morning while crews worked to clean up the mess.
Officials say the spilled chemicals aren't dangerous to drivers, but D.E.P. crews are monitoring the situation.
The driver of the semi, 45-year-old Kenneth Taylor of Tennessee was not injured, but was arrested for O.U.I. and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
Members of the Old Town-Orono hazmat team also responded to the scene.
