The University of Maine says one of its students has tested positive for the swine flu.
The infected person lives alone on the Orono campus.
The school says the student has chosen to remain on campus, and is recuperating in isolation.
Residence hall staff members and others are helping, under plans developed at the University over the past six months.
Students at highest risk at UMaine are being highly encouraged to get the H1N1 vaccine.
A two-day clinic for students 24 years and younger, is scheduled for Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 10th.
It will be held at the school's field house.
The vaccines are free.
University spokesman Joe Carr says they requested six thousand vaccines, but were recently informed the number being shipped will be less.

On November 16th and 17th, the H1N1 vaccine will be offered to faculty and staff members as well as their spouses who are in groups identified as at risk.
