Bangor Hydro crews are addressing a service interruption in the Deer Isle and Sedgwick area affecting nearly 3,000 customers, as well as a small number of scattered outages in the Lucerne and Orono areas.

The lines came down due to the wind and rain.

All available crews are working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Service is expected to be restored tonight.

Bangor Hydro reminds and encourages customers to stay clear of downed power lines and trees in contact with power lines. Customers may report outages by calling 1-800-440-1111.
