Police continue to search for the person who shot a 63-year-old man outside a motorcycle club in Canaan.
State police responded to reports of gunshots near the entrance to a Hell's Angels clubhouse on Route 23 Thursday night - that's where police found Gary Watson of Madison.
Neighbors say he has taken care of the clubhouse for a number of years.
Police believe the suspect may have taken off in a car heading toward Hinckley.
State Police Lieutenant Gary Wright told TV5 that Watson had surgery and at last report was in critical condition at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
The hospital has no information on his condition.
