Makes 8 meatballs
Ingredients:
½ lb. ground beef
¼ cup bread crumbs
1/8 cup milk
1 egg
¼ cup minced onion
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
¼ teaspoon black pepper
mozzarella cheese cut into 8, ½” cubes
marinara sauce or sauce of your choice
Directions:
In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, and pepper. Mix well. Shape meat mixture into 1” to 1 ½” meatballs around a cube of mozzarella. Place in single layer in a foil pan or baking dish, cover with marinara. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
