Plymouth -
A judge set bail today at $30,000 for a man from Plymouth accused of stealing steaks from a Bangor store and waving a knife at a security officer.
Jeremy Lau, 37, is charged with robbery and theft.
Police say he went to Shaw's on Main Street last Saturday, grabbed four steaks worth about $100 and stuffed them in his clothes.
When store security confronted him, we're told Lau ran out the back door.
Police say he then pulled out a knife and flicked it open.
Lau was later arrested on Ohio Street.
Prosecutors say he has a long history of theft, robbery and other convictions.
