A man from Old Town will spend six years behind bars for several robberies and burglaries in the area.
John Taylor, 20, pleaded guilty Thursday to burglarizing a home in Clifton.
He had previously pleaded guilty to robbing a convenience store in Veazie and robbing a Milford homeowner with a pellet gun.
Taylor also pleaded no contest to burglarizing a home in Old Town.
"You demonstrated an intolerable insensitivity to those people whose lives that you were effecting and will continue to effect over a period of time."
"I think that my client is remorseful," Taylor's attorney said. "I think that he was very honest and upfront with law enforcement and law enforcement agrees, that they could tell that he was remorseful for his actions and the effect it had on people."
Taylor was also ordered to pay about $20,000 in restitution to the business and the people who were robbed.
