Corinna -
A fire destroyed a barn this afternoon at a Corinna farm.
The barn at Simpson View Farm on Corinna Center Road was full of equipment.
Fire crews got the call around 2pm this afternoon.
Half of the shed was engulfed in flames when they got there.
The steel from the building made it difficult to extinguish the fire and had to be taken apart piece-by-piece.
"Seven, departments, seven, eight here. After we finally got the water supply established, was able to contain the fire quickly, but was just unable to put it out efficiently," said Corinna Fire Chief Leslie Bolstridge.
The Fire Marshall's office has been called in to investigate.
No one was hurt.
