Officials at the Bangor Public Library are hosting a series of focus groups to discuss possible renovations.
On Wednesday night, a group of volunteers discussed ways they currently use the library, and how the facility could better serve their needs.
Stephen and Tabitha King say they'll pitch in $3-million for a major make-over, but only if the library, and community, come up with $6-million to cover the rest of the tab.
The library's launched a $9-million dollar fundraising campaign.
Designers are considering increased way-finding between new and old parts of the building, new meeting rooms, and a coffee shop.
The next focus group is scheduled for next Tuesday inside the library.
That starts at 5 P.M. and is open to the public.
