Bangor -
A former Bangor police detective accused of driving drunk in a police cruiser is trying to suppress evidence in his case.
39-year-old Erik Tall is charged with OUI.
Monday in court in Bangor, police explained what took place the day Tall was charged.
Tall was on duty when he was cited for drunk driving last fall.
Police say Tall had a blood alcohol level of more than than one-and-a-half times the legal limit.
Tall resigned last month after nearly 15 years on the force.
Monday's hearing was continued.
A date has not been set.
