Bangor, Plymouth -
A man from Plymouth accused of stealing steaks from a Bangor grocery store is charged with robbery and theft.
Police say 37-year-old Jeremy Lau went to Shaw's on Main Street Saturday, grabbed four porterhouse steaks worth about $100 and stuffed them in his clothes.
When store security confronted him, we're told Lau ran out the back door and toward the street.
Police say he then pulled out a knife and flicked it open.
Lau was later arrested on Ohio Street.
He has previous theft and robbery convictions.
Lau's lawyer says Lau wasn't able to make his initial court appearance Monday.
He's scheduled to go before a judge Wednesday.
