USM Searches for Ways to Cut Budget


The president of the University of Southern Maine says the school must trim $5 million from its budget, which could mean staff cuts.

The president set prelimary cuts of $3.2 million from academic affairs and $1.8 millon from adminstration, and she's asked deans and department heads to offer recommendations.
