Dexter -
An Assistant Fire Chief says an electrical problem started a fire on Water St. in Dexter Tuesday afternoon.
First Asst. Fire Chief Rick Stocker said fire crews from two departments battled a fire in Dexter just before 5:00pm.
A back bedroom in this home on Water St. had caught fire.
Crews from Dexter and Corinna managed to put the fire out quickly, but we're told the bedroom suffered fire damage and the rest of the house has heavy smoke and water damage.
Fire fighters tell us no one was hurt and the people who were renting the home are staying with friends.
