Lincoln -
AP - State police say Interstate 95 in the Lincoln area is closed because of a man threatening suicide along the road.
Police say the man is in a vehicle with a gun to his head in the southbound lane, just south of the Lincoln exit. State police are attempting to negotiate with the man, who is sitting inside his vehicle.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at the Lincoln exit and at the Howland exit going north.
Route 116 and U.S. Route 2 are being used to detour traffic. I-95 was closed about 4:30 p.m. Monday.
