Drug Agents: Two Arrested for Selling Cocaine

Augusta - Drug agents arrested two people who they say have been selling cocaine.

Shenika Boyd, 33, previously of New York, is charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, and Kathy Tupper, 48, of Augusta is charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Cocaine. Tupper's prior drug convictions are the reason her offense is aggravated.

Drug agents say they searched Boyd's motel room in Manchester, Tupper's house in Augusta, and another house on Friday, and found cocaine valued at $7,400 , Oxycodone tablets valued at $1,840, and $3,370 in cash.

Drug agents say the investigation began several months ago and more arrests are expected.

Boyd and Tupper and scheduled to be in court on May 14th.
