Benefit Being Held Saturday For 4-Year-Old Waterville Boy Stricken With Leukemia

3

Waterville - Central Maine residents are coming together to help a 4-year-old Waterville boy stricken with leukemia.

Zachary Korbet was diagnosed back in January.

Friends and family have organized a benefit pot luck dinner Saturday night, March 9.

All the proceeds will go toward helping his mother with travel expenses to and from Zachary's chemotherapy sessions in southern Maine.

The benefit supper runs from 4:00-7:00 at the American Legion, 21 College Avenue in Waterville.

Donations will be taken at the door.

They'll have live music, a silent auction and door prizes.
