Lincoln -
A day of fishing and fun can help a local senior center.
The Fishing Derby and Girl's Galleria is Saturday in Lincoln.
Mrs. Harris' 8th grade lab class is helping with the event.
The derby is on Mattanawcook Pond and the galleria is at Mattanawcook Junior High School.
Derby registration starts at the beach at 6am. It costs $5 to fish.
From 10am - 2pm at the school you can shop and pamper yourself. There will also be prizes and raffles.
The money raised will go to the Golden Key Senior Center to help buy a flag pole for the property.
