The morning team was able to get an interview with Maine native NASA Astronaut Chris Cassidy, who is scheduled to go on a mission to the International Space Station on March 28th, 2013. He was at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia for the launch.
This will be the first time in the 12 year history of the space station a spacecraft carrying a crew will dock at the outpost within hours of launching.
Cassidy will be returning from this mission on September 11th.
