A convicted sex offender from Hampden who was sentenced this week to federal prison for more than a dozen years for having child pornography was given a 30-year sentence Wednesday.
This time on state charges of sexually abusing a child.
65-year-old Walter Mosher pleaded guilty last fall to gross sexual assault.
He faced up to life in prison because the child was under the age of 14.
Mosher was sentenced Monday in federal court for having pictures and videos of child porn on his computer.
He's listed on the Maine sex offender registry for sex crimes cases in 1986 involving children in Aroostook County.
