Bangor -
The Bangor Government Operations Committee discussed the possibility of moving the Bandstand, once located Paul Bunyan Park, to Pickering Square on Monday.
The city has been collaborating with the Parks and Recreation Department and the Bangor Band on finding a new location for their concerts, along with other city events.
They want a new venue ready for the 2013 summer season, but that may not be possible.
Several members of the council raised concerns with building in Pickering Square.
Now it appears organizers will go back to the drawing board and discuss other possible locations.
The venue will be paid for by the Bangor Band, along with other fund raisers, not the city.
