Students at Stockton Springs Elementary School will be moved to Searsport next fall.
The RSU 20 Board of Directors has approved that plan.
The Stockton school will house a new child development program.
The superintendent says moving students to Searsport will save the district $190,000 a year.
He says the child development program in Stockton Springs could actually generate $125,000 a year.
