A year ago, Victor Irwin won a state title wrestling at 195 pounds. A trip to the New England competition followed, and it was an eye-opener.
This year, he's fresh off another state title, wrestling at 220 pounds. Tomorrow he heads to New Englands again in Rhode Island.
Irwin's work ethic in the past 12 months has led to more confidence.
