Bangor Man Indicted in Case of Hockey Stick Attack

Bangor - A man from Bangor accused of going after a woman with a hockey stick was indicted Tuesday by the Penobscot County grand jury.

Police arrested 29-year-old Christopher Stone last month.

They say Stone initially told a dispatcher two men and a woman attacked him with knives and brass knuckles.

Police say they determined Stone was actually not a victim and after he allegedly attacked a woman, he ran inside his ex-girlfriend's house.

She has a protection order against him.

Stone was also indicted for violating that.
