Family-Owned Maine Business Moves Headquarters to NH

Bangor/Portsmouth, NH - A family-owned Bangor business has relocated its corporate headquarters to New Hampshire.

P.A.T Products, an international distributor of specialty chemicals, plastic and raw materials is now based at Pease International Tradeport, according to the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development.

"We moved to New Hampshire to lower our business costs and to be closer to our customers," said Leo Coyle, president of P.A.T. Products.

P.A.T Products was in Bangor for 40 years.

Thats really too bad! That a Maine company needs to move out of this state to lower cost to run their business. There needs to be some way to keep local companies here. We can't just replace them with out of town big box companies. I've lived most of my life in Maine I never heard of the company til now but its a shame that they left even to a neighboring state.
