South Thomaston -
Maine drug agents have charged a South Thomaston man with drug trafficking after they say they found a methamphetamine lab at his home.
MDEA agents searched 36-year old Paul Mahonen's home Tuesday and say they found chemicals, plastic bottles and other materials used to make the drug.
the MDEA raided 13 meth labs last year. They say this is the third meth lab agents have found in Maine this year. The other two were located in Houlton and Smyrna.
Police say this is the same house where Leonard Wells, 53, of Greenbush was arrested last week. They say Wells was found hiding in the house and in possession of 20 grams of bath salts.
Wells had been out on bail from his arrest last month after one of the state's largest bath salt seizures at a home in Hermon.
