Bangor -
Police say a good Samaritan helped catch a suspected shoplifter at the Bangor Mall.
Bangor police got a call Friday morning that a man was trying to steal stuff from Sears.
Security officers tried to stop the suspect but he took off running inside the mall.
He headed into Dick's Sporting Goods and made his way out the door to the street.
That's when police say a person going into the mall stopped the guy.
Police arrested 27-year-old Tyler Scott of Bangor and say they found $120 worth of video games on him.
Scott was out on bail for a previous shoplifting incident.
He remains in the Penobscot County Jail.
