Quick action by a pair of UMaine students prevented what could have been much worse in Nutting Hall Tuesday night.
A school official says the students were working around midnight when they noticed a fire.
The Orono Fire Department responded and quickly put out the blaze.
They believe a catalog binder left on top of a wood drying oven caused it.
