If the snow doesn't bother you, can you fish anywhere in the pine tree state this weekend, free of charge.
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said anyone can fish on Maine's waterways Saturday and Sunday. Unless those whose license had been suspended or revoked.
The department hopes the free weekend encourages people to try the sport for the first time and take advantage of Maine's frozen lakes and ponds.
