There's a nursing home in Deer Isle that's treating residents like anything but senior citizens.
On Friday afternoon, the Island Nursing Home and Care Center hosted a prom, just like it was high school.
30 years ago, the home opened its doors. The staff celebrated their anniversary in formal fashion.
Staffers provided makeup, dresses, suits, and even did their residents hair in preparation for the special occasion.
Nearly all of the center's residents enjoyed the afternoon. Some even arrived in limousine fashion. 80 of them danced as if it were that special day all over again.
