The snow we got last weekend was good for high school cross country skiing. There was a special Valentine's Day event today in Winterport. It was the first high school meet at the brand new Abbott Park. Four nordic teams from Camden Hills, John Bapst, Orono, and Hampden were competing in a skate ski relay race. Today the competitors were rewarded with balloons and chocolates.
The winners included, for the boys, Hampden's Dustin Ramsay and Tyler Moore.
